Getting closer...

   Not much longer to go and the Studio will finally open. It has been almost 2 years of a lot of hard work! We still have lots of little details to get done but I am certain that door will open on November 19th! I hope you can join me from 8-2:00 that day. If that day doesn't work for you...come visit on Thur(8-8:00), Fri(8-5:00) and Sat(8-12:00)!

   As many of you know I am a mother first and the business part of my life comes second. With 4 children(Abbey 15, Luke 13, Maria 9 & Gabe 7)...you know just how busy I am! I want to "Try" and balance my work with the rest of my life. This is the main reason why I am only open 3 days a week. Of course, as my time opens, I will gladly add days on. I so appreciate all of you that understand this.

  So as the countdown continues so does my "To~Do" list...wish me luck on finishing it!!!

Summer Time...

   Yes, I am not the best on blogging too often...cause I am tooooo busy these days or just too lazy somedays! With keeping the business going, remodeling the new studio and raising 4 young children, my life is very full but I am very happy with it all!

  The Studio is coming along and we plan to open November 19th so keep that date open!!! We have done more remodeling that we originially planned which I know is worth it. The ceiling was totally removed but not the wonderful beams. We have now gutted out the basement and taken out the old dirt flooring which was an experience...that's how we spent our 4th of July weekend.

   My Studio won't be like your normal quilt shop...it will be an experience!  Items I have on order, you won't see many places which will make it worth the trip to little Brandon! It is a wonderful cozy welcoming town with a so yummy cafe, large Award-Winning Meat Market, the most adorable floral/gift shop(Garden Scents) and just an atomsphere you can't pay for.
   So I will keep you thinking of that as I say "Good Bye"...as always, Blessings to you Rhonda

Talents...

I know many of you have heard me say that we are each blessed with something special.  I am very proud to pass on my love of what I do. God gave each of us a talent whether it be:

•  Creativity to be a designer, artist, etc.
• Smarts to be a doctor, lawyer, teacher, etc.
• Athlectic to be a basketball player, golfer, runner, etc.
• Beauty to be a model, etc.
• Funny to be a comedian, actor/actress, etc.
• Helpfulness to be a mom, teacher, nurse, etc.

Basically I am saying "FIND" what makes you happy and at peace and you will find what God has blessed you with...just try it and you will find God too!!!  Then you can pass on that peace...it's easy and so rewarding!

Exciting...

So much has been going on that I forgot to send some new updates to my blog! I keep updating the website and forget to send some information this way.

The excitement about winning second place in the Business Plan Competition has kept me flying high lately. It may take a while for this to settle in. As I have always stated...God works through my hands and he sure did with my Business Plan. Check out my website for more info and pics.

It is time to finish up the new designs for 2011 so watch for them to be released soon!!! Lots of full kits as per your requests!!!
